Answers about joining, VIP pricing, wipe schedules, plugins, RP points, and bans on SisuRust — covering both the 10x and Vanilla servers.
About SisuRust
What is SisuRust?
SisuRust is a Finland-run Rust server family with two EU-hosted servers: SisuRust 10x (casual-friendly, fast rates, weekly wipe) and SisuRust Vanilla (true 1x rates, monthly wipe). Both share one Discord community and rule set.
What is the difference between SisuRust 10x and Vanilla?
SisuRust 10x runs 10x gather and 15x sulfur with all blueprints unlocked, wiping once a week (Friday). SisuRust Vanilla runs true 1x rates with no modified progression, wiping once a month. 10x is built for players with limited playtime — real progress in one evening and a max team size of 5; Vanilla favors slower, longer-term survival.
Is SisuRust affiliated with Facepunch Studios?
No. SisuRust is an independently run, community-operated Rust server and is not affiliated with Facepunch Studios, the developer of Rust.
Where is SisuRust hosted?
Both SisuRust servers are hosted in the EU region. General chat is kept in English; team and private chat can be in any language.
Joining & playing
Is SisuRust good for beginners and players with limited time?
Yes — SisuRust 10x is built for it. All blueprints are unlocked, crafting is instant, everyone gets a free starter kit plus homes and teleports, and teams are capped at 5 so big clans can't run the map. Admins and the Discord community are happy to help new players.
Can my base be raided while I'm offline?
Yes, but it's much harder. Once your whole team has been offline for 15 minutes, your base takes only 25% damage for the next 30 hours, so raiders need about 4× the explosives. Protection then fades and ends at 48 hours, so abandoned bases don't clog the map. Code-lock-whitelisted friends count as owners. Type /raidprot in game for details.
How do I join a SisuRust server?
Click "Join server" on the homepage, or type client.connect [IP:PORT] into the Rust console — play.sisurust.com:28015 for 10x, or play.sisurust.com:28025 for Vanilla.
What plugins does SisuRust 10x use?
SisuRust 10x runs around 80 Oxide plugins, including Kits, Homes/Teleportation, Raidable Bases, an in-game shop, SkinBox, VIP tiers, Backpacks, a timed Airfield helicopter event, and player trading.
Can I play both servers with the same character?
No — each server is its own separate world, so inventory and bases don't carry over between SisuRust 10x and SisuRust Vanilla.
Why was I kicked or banned?
Check the reason in the Discord Ticket Tool channel. If you think a ban was a mistake, open a support ticket. See the Rules page for the full punishment table.
Wipes
When's the next wipe?
SisuRust 10x wipes every Friday at 18:00 Finnish time; in the week of the monthly forced wipe it wipes with the forced update on Thursday instead. SisuRust Vanilla wipes the first Thursday of each month at 21:00 Finnish time — in practice usually about 15 minutes earlier. See Wipe info or #wipe-announcements on Discord for the exact next date.
What carries over across a wipe?
Blueprints, VIP perks, tokens, and your Discord role and history carry over. The map, buildings, character inventory, clans, RP balance, and ranking points are reset. Full breakdown on the Wipe info page.
VIP & RP points
How does VIP work?
VIP is purchased through the Tebex store and activates automatically on your Steam account within a few minutes of purchase. VIP saves you time with building kits, more homes, faster teleports and a bigger backpack. Perks carry over across wipes.
How much does VIP cost?
Basic is €4.99/month, Premium is €7.49/month, and Ultimate is €9.99/month — all VIP prices were cut by 50% in October 2026. 3-month and lifetime options are also available — see the Store page for full pricing.
How do I get 30% off in the in-game shop?
Link your Discord account: join discord.sisurust.com, type /dc code in game chat and send the command you get to the SisuRust bot as a Discord DM. Linked players get 30% off everything in /shop — free for everyone.
What are RP points and how do I get them?
RP is SisuRust's in-game currency. Everyone earns it at the same rate — 100 RP per hour of playing — plus extra RP for voting. RP cannot be bought with real money and VIP does not earn it faster. Spend it in-game with /shop; explosives are not sold. RP balances reset at each wipe.
