Rust Server Wipe Schedule
A wipe resets the server: the map changes and all buildings are cleared, so everyone starts from an even line on the new round. On SisuRust, blueprints and purchased store perks are kept across a wipe — only the world itself resets.
What does a wipe reset?
| Resets | Stays |
|---|---|
| Map and buildings | Blueprints (unlocked recipes) |
| Character inventory and bases | VIP / store purchases |
| Clans and relationships | Tokens |
| RP balance and ranking points | Discord role and history |
Monthly forced wipe
On the first Thursday of each month Facepunch releases a mandatory update that wipes every Rust server. SisuRust 10x wipes together with it, and there is no extra Friday wipe that week. In practice servers usually wipe about 15 minutes before the official time, so log in a bit early. The exact time is announced on Discord.
Why does SisuRust wipe on this schedule?
SisuRust 10x wipes every Friday evening, so everyone starts fresh right as the weekend begins. With 10x rates and all blueprints unlocked, a week is enough to reach end-game even if you only play a few evenings — and if you fell behind, the next fresh start is never far away. SisuRust Vanilla wipes once a month because true 1x rates take much longer to progress through, so a longer cycle fits its slower pace. See full server details on the SisuRust 10x and SisuRust Vanilla pages.
